Circa 1900, the Hudson Valley was known as the brickmaking capital of the world, producing more than a million bricks a year. Over the years these brick yards slowly closed their gates leaving behind a colorful legacy scattered across the shores of the Hudson River. I take these forgotten pieces of history and crafts them into beautiful piece of functional  art  that bring a piece of this rich history into your home.
